What is jimena hurrican?

Tropical Storm Jimena was a Pacific hurricane that formed in late August 2021. It reached peak intensity as a Category 4 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale, with maximum sustained winds of 145 mph. Jimena brought heavy rainfall and strong winds to parts of Mexico, causing flooding and other damage in some areas.

The storm gradually weakened as it moved northwest, eventually dissipating over the open waters of the Pacific Ocean. While Jimena did not directly impact any heavily populated areas, it still served as a reminder of the potential dangers posed by hurricanes and tropical storms.
